I want to print a photo on a glass 2 meters x 2 meters. To obtain a good quality of the printed photo, what size of a photo should I aquire? (For a good quality I guess there should be a min 150 DPI.)

Thank you

Maciej

2 meters at 150ppi gets you an image of 11,811 pixels. Cameras don't do that. To be honest, I printed assets at a much lower density (as low as 50ppi), with excellent results. But all depends on the viewing distance. Your printer should be able to recommend you a range of settings which produce the best results for your intended use.

If your ppi value is higher, you won't get an improvement in quality. If it is lower, the image will be less sharp and may expose aliasing. If the resolution of your intended image is not high enough, you should be able to carefully resize the asset, if the one who created the asset did not resize the asset themselves, to make a low-resolution asset more attractive.

I've designed large standup displays for tradeshows and 150 dpi is the minimum as you suspect.
