When does monthly limit reset?

Do subscriptions that have a monthly limit reset on the first day of the month? Or, do they reset on the anniversary day that the subscription was initiated (ex. 11th day of each month)?

If you start your subscription on January 5th, 2020 at 1:35:01PM then every month, at that time you will receive your new quota. If you are having issues with receiving your monthly quota please contact customer care for assistance.

It's not exactly a monthly limit. It's a number of credits which you get each month, which last for a year then vanish. (They also all vanish if you stop paying).

Your response doesn't address the question I asked. I understand that the credits will remain for a year if they are unused. Our subscription stipulates 40 downloads for month. Our account was paid for a full year renewal in January. I am trying to determine how Adobe defines a "month." Does the month begin on the 1st of every calendar month, and the next block of 40 becomes available? Or, is the beginning of our subscription month based on the anniversary date (in our case the 11th of the month) of our subscription.
