Why do we pay for "all apps" only for Adobe to ask for a seperate plan for 3d software?
Substance is an Adobe App is it not? How am I paying for "all apps" yet not getting all apps?
This is false advertising on Adobes part and is just downright a shady business practice.

Hello,
Thanks for the feedback.
To be honest, this is something that is frequently discussed, and you're not the first to bring this up. I totally get the frustration, but there is nothing new to share on this regard.

It's absolutely ridiculous that I'm paying for this "ALL APP" plan, which is apparently a lie. Shame on Adobe and shame on your greedy and convoluted billing practices.

To be fair, it is now made very clear that Substance 3D apps are not part of the CC plan.

Well then they should rebrand this as "ALL THE APPS EXCEPT CERTAIN ONES SORRY" Plan. Don't sell me an "ALL APP" plan and then quietly change things under the hood. There is literally nothing fair about any of this.

'Don't sell me an "ALL APP" plan and then quietly change things under the hood'
Things were not changed under the hood. The CC All apps plan has never included all non CC Adobe applications. For example Captivate or Framemaker are separate to CC.
Substance 3D apps were created and sold by Allegorithmic, a separate company. When Adobe took them over, subscription plans were created for those apps by Adobe. The Substance 3D apps never been part of CC, although many customers with CC subscriptions hoped that they would be. The plan information just emphasises what has always been the case.

They need to be made part of CC. If it was, I'd pay for CC instead of ONLY Substance and Adobe would make more money off me ($11 more a month or $132 more a year). I'm a huge fan of Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and many other Adobe apps I have used over the last 30 years. Yet I don't use them much except at work. So, Adobe, bundle Substance in with CC and give me a reason to sub to CC again.
Offering Substance as a stand-alone option would be good as not all 3D artists want to pay the higher price of CC. I'm a Graphic Designer that does 3D as well though and thus a bundled option would be perfect!

Are you sure? I've used Substance before, a few years ago, and I've never paid for it. I've just always had my all plans account. I feel like it used to be a part of the plan but was changed as 3D became or accessible generally.

Absolutely sure. It has never been part of CC. Historically, the Substance apps such as Designer, Painter and what was then called Alchemist were separate to Adobe and were owned by Allegorithmic. Since Substance apps became part of Adobe, the plans have been separate.
The one exception was Dimension which was dropped in favour of Stager.
