Hello!
I'm an entry level 3D modeller using Blender with Substance Painter and other illustration/image processing software for texturing. However due to my physcial space limit, I could not afford a larger screen tablet for texturing. Personally has been using Substance Painter for the last 2 years, it has been rough but very helpful in my production pipeline. Even though the slowest and inconvenient part is Substance Painter, I stil use it daily on a 15" Wacom Screen Tablet with resolution at 1920x1080 .
The thing I would like Substance Painter to improve is the UI on the current version (same as the 2022),
With the use of keyboard it's still some times frustrating to remember the mapping. The brush settings I thing it could be eaiser to just make it a drop down slider to change tthe size, flow, opacity, spacing and distance. Just showing the value will be more than enough to knowing what settings I'm in. Settings like mirror toggles and other can be shown on the screen.
Second thing will be the asset browser, white you can adjust the preview side, but it's honestly frustrating only had 4 settings then a wrindow like you can zoom freely. The list preview just a single column is pointless if you want to place it horizontally on the top or bottom of the canvas. The small/medium thumbnail text are too small or get cut off instead of moving to the next line.
Last but not least, the filter could move around to side of the asset browser to save some working space for the canvas, and do not have to hide and become a drop down manual.
Thank You,
