Selection cannot be deactivated

I cannot deselect a selection completely - some of the blue selection-markings stay active even when I click outside the artboard - or select another object.

    Yes it's a pain to work like that. I imagine it would be a pretty simple fix, but the Adobe-Team seems to be on holiday;)

      Same here… and because I work with thousands of tiny objects in my scenes, it can make viewing/selecting the right object almost impossible.

        That also happens with me. Its known bug.
