Substance 3D Stager freezing, going completely blank

The new Stager update has this weird bug where the entire screen goes blank. So, it freezes and it's impossible to restore any work (corrupts the files too) - won't close without a "force quit action." I have had to do this several times already and it's very unreliable/concering; Here's a screenshot, if anyone has ideas. 🤷🏻‍♀️

(Don't think it's my laptop but for reference, I am running macOS Sonoma, on MacBook Pro M1 chip.)

    I wasn't able to reproduce the issue on my end. Where the .AI decal was saved and what's its name? Special characters (é, à, :, etc.) in the path can be a problem.

    I am not sure if this is the exact trigger but the last two times it happened, it was right after I treid to apply a graphic (.png) image that I had created (in .ai) onto my 3D model. Here are the logs for the last few days.  🤷🏻‍ (idk)
