Apply images to basic shapes?

Hi. Is there a way to applky images to basic shapes, such as spheres, generated in Stager? Is there a way to turn shapes into models or something?

Yes, you can. Convert them to Standard Model by clicking on the last icon in Action Section. The same you can do for text also.
