Light source place inside object

Hi there,

I want to switch from dimension to stager.

The main reason is missing light settings in dimension.

My question is whether I can place light source inside objects, like tents.

Attached is a dimension sample image, inside tent is pretty dark.

Does stager software help to achieve my lightning problem?

Thank you for support.

Best

Hans

Hello, if you want to continue in Dimension you can also set a shape with the glow material. In my example i used a sphere but you can use plan, square an just select the face to set the glow. If you set the opacity to 0 you need to increase the glow but it can be a quick solution if you want to stay in Dn.

You need to use any Physical Light inside object ( I use Area Light) and play with Opasity or Interior property of material that is applied on your object. See capture. Please review Adobe Standard Material | Substance 3D Sampler to better understand what kind of material changes you can do in Stager
