Hi folks.
I have been a Painter user for a few years and have just jumpped into Stager.
How can I link all my Painter libraries (sbars) to the Stager library.
Currently I have to look through Painter, once I have found a material I would like to use then send to stager.!!
Thanks

Hi @steveh27956226,
Thanks for the question.
The starter asset library isn't customizable, but you can create your own librairies for the creative cloud. Therefore, you'll simply have to locate your Painter's assets under
C:\Users\Username\Documents\Adobe\Adobe Substance 3D Painter\assets\materials
And drag and drop them on the libraries window.

Thanks for the reply only problem with that method is that I cant see any previews of the materials!!
Should just be able to read the same materials which are in Painter library surley? Or even better have a shared library between them like you can set the default library in Painter..

Unfortunately, no software from our Substance Suite shares a common library, except for the Substance 3D Assets library. As long as you download the Materials there, they will all be visible in the Creative Cloud Desktop app, where you can quickly send them to Stager.
I know it's probably not exactly what you wish for, but you'll either have to use Stager's librairies or the Substance 3D Assets.

You cant add it to Stager library assets. But you can add 3d models in Stager via Library and reuse in project. importing models into Stager from library will add relative materials into project.
Also there is possible to send object from Painter into Stager from Painter.

It would be great if you could point to your main lbrary collection of existing materials which is kept on a separate drive as you can in Painter prefs.
Maybe a new feature for future releases.
