Premiere version 23.2.0 (Build 69)
Windows 10 Home, Version 22H2
The Problem:
Whenever I create a Auto Caption preset in a Team Project, either by clicking "Save current settings as preset" within the Create captions dialog box, or by importing such a preset into the Team Project project panel, the Team Project refuses to successfully save, and publishing the project fails.
Workaround:
Deleting the Auto Caption preset from the project bin appears to correct the issue, and the project saves as normal once again. But of course then you don't have access to your Auto Caption preset.
Here is the error box that appears shortly after creating/importing the preset:
The following error is then logged to Events:
This is a very frustrating road block that has caused us a considerable headache and several hours of wasted work before discovering the source of the issue.
Thank you for taking the time to report this. Good news! The bug has now been fixed, as of PrPro version 24.2 (Beta) build 075 or higher. So you can see the fix in a public beta build now or in the upcoming public release of Pr 24.2.

Hi @epic_speaker5C3A,
Sorry for your troubles! I'm able to reproduce this issue in the current release, but it appears to be fixed in the latest beta version (24.1). Unfortunately the fix will not make it into the forthcoming 24.0 release.
[Correction] The Auto-Save error does not happen in 24.1, but the preset 'disappears' when the project is re-opened. I logged a high priority bug to get this addressed asap.
Thank you & regards,
Udo
