Error opening team project and will not open previous auto saves

I am getting an error code -1 and it won't open the project. It askes to open a previous auto save but they all fail as well. I did create a new teams project and imported the files. One of the folder would not import until i went far enough back in time losing a ton of work.

Is there a way to recover the work? If not what precautions should I take to make sure this does not happen again.

Thanks

    Hi,

Sorry for your troubles with Team Project.
Have you tried reverting to a previous Auto-Save version via the Media Browser -- View and restore auto-saves?

I was able to do that. I just lost a ton of work and was hoping to recover that.

Just to confirm, did you create a new Team Project based on a 'Version' or were you able to revert to an 'Auto-Save'?

A new "Version" is created everytime a collaborator shares changes to the Team Project. So, if you restore a 'Version' you might loose any changes that haven't yet been shared.

A new "Auto-Save" is created for each edit and saved locally to a database, restoring from there should also restore your edits from the last successfull auto-save operation.

Another way to recover lost work could be to drag and drop the sequence(s) or bins from the Team Projects  'Media Browser - Auto-Saves' into a new empty Team Project? Use the vertical slider to go back in your edit history.
