Premiere Team Project Issue - Sequence Deleted/Recovery

New Here ,
Apr 09, 2024 Apr 09, 2024

I've twice had this specific issue now with a Premiere Pro Teams Project where for some reason the sequence I'm working on deletes itself, I can't undo this action (if I click on 'Publish' I can see the delete asset action). Both times I've not accidently clicked 'delete' on the sequence, it just seems to vanish and there are no 'undo's' to fix this. Yesterday this happened with I was working on a comp in After Effects and went back to Premiere to review my AE work in the timeline.

When I access my Team Project Versions in the Premiere Media Browser to try and rescue the sequence, I roll back to before the sequence was deleted, but when I right click 'import' nothing happens no matter how many times I try to do this. The only way I can rescue the sequence is by creating a new duplicate Team Project from the auto-save and then archiving the original project, which is not ideal given I then have to let collaborators know. In the duplicate Team Project I'm then able to import the original sequence and carry on working. Has anyone else experienced this?

I'm on Premiere 24.2 using a Macbook Pro.

Hey there.  Sorry that you are experiencing this issue.  Questions for you --

1) Does this always happen when toggling between After Effects and Premiere Pro?  Does this happen when closing premiere pro and then doing After Effects work?
2) What versions of the applications are you using?
3) Can we get a copy of the .tpr file after the item has been deleted?

  Mac - ~/Users/<username>Library/Application Support/ Adobe/ Common/Team Projects Local Hub/Auto Saves/
4) Are all collaborators using their own individual creative cloud account?

This word for word happened to me just now.  Not seeing any responces to your original issue so hoping this pings some help on this.

Annoyingly I don't think I found any solution to this, it's not happened since though. It might be because I've stopped using Prem and AE together, way too unstable to trust.

Which version of Premiere Pro are you running?
What happens when you right-click the Version or Auto-Save instance of the project that still shows the deleted sequence in the media Browser and then do a 'New Team Project from Version / Auto-Save...'?
