Be the first to try Lightroom’s new and improved Content-Aware Remove tool, now available as an early access feature in Lightroom on the web. Remove distractions and imperfections from your photos with significantly improved results thanks to advancements in AI/ML, and then provide feedback on your experience.

How do I use the new Content-aware Remove (Early Access) feature?
You can access Lightroom web by signing into lightroom.adobe.com in your preferred browser. You can access this feature via the Healing panel in the editor and the UX will be identical to the current Content-aware Remove experience in Lightroom Desktop.

Will the heal be synced across to all Lightroom applications, such as Lr Desktop, Lr Mobile apps & ACR?
  • Yes, the edited version will be synced and rendered across all Lightroom cloud clients, Lr Desktop, Lr iOS and Lr Android, Lightroom Classic and ACR
  • However, if you refresh the same heal area in other Lightroom apps, it will deploy the existing healing technology in that specific app. This often will lead to poorer results.

Been using this new feature and I like it. However, sometimes when trying to remove people, AI just inserts another image of some random person!!?? Why is it doing that?

If using the web-based content aware heal and then syncing to Lightroom Classic, review the known issue here: https://helpx.adobe.com/lightroom-classic/kb/known-issues.html
