Hi, Are you saying that when Flash Player is installed via the product SwfKit, that swfkit is installing Flash Player to c:\program files\SWFKit Pro 3\data?  If so, that is not a standard location for Flash Player, which may lead to the installation errors you are seeing. Google updates the pepper-based Flash Player.  If you have the latest version of Google Chrome installed for your OS, you have the latest version of Flash Player for Chrome installed. If you have 12.0.0.47 installed, then you have the beta version released last Tuesday. This appears to be an issue with IE11.  Internet Explorer 11 doesn't identify itself as Internet Explorer, instead it's identifying itself as 'Gecko' browser, which uses the plugin, which in turn is resulting in our detection scripts not identifying IE correctly. Going to http://whatsmyuseragent.com/ with IE 10 on Win 7, IE is detected as Internet Explorer (MSIE 10.0): With IE 11 on Win 7, IE is detected as a 'like Gecko' browser: I'll forward this information to the folks who handle the detection on that page. -- Maria ... Hi Doc, What detection scripts are you referring to?  Dection scripts on adobe.com have been updated to detect the latest versions.  If you're referring to detection scripts on other sites, it is up to the content provider to update their content accordingly. @dudeness44, The updated catalog, posted yesterday, had the rules updated for the ActiveX to use the equivalent version entry that the Plugin uses.  If the catalog you downloaded doesn't have the updated rules, there could be a caching issue somewhere.  In case it is a caching issue on our servers, we've cleared the cache on the servers again, hopefully it'll propagate correctly throughout. @austinian, Thank you for providing the files.  I confirmed that you are downloading the updated catalog, however, the XML file in the 'update package generated by the deployment' attachment you included still has the old rule, not the new one.  Please be sure the XML in the package generated by the deployment contains the new rules. -- Maria ... Hello qegs, The version number to use in the URL path is '11', not '12'.  The Flash Player 12.0 Admin Guide has been updated to indicate this in the pertinent section. When both ActiveX and Plugin are installed, the Background Updater first updates the ActiveX player and then the Plugin player is updated within the hour, therefore, you won't see both player types updated at the same time.
