Hi All Last week I finally got around to installing CC2018 (and updates) alongside my existing Windows 10 / CC2017 install. All installed without any problems. However, in Premiere Pro, I'm immediately noticing that scrubbing and trimming seems a little choppy... for example, when using the slip tool and dragging with the mouse, the vision being scrubbed quickly freezes in the Program monitor, failing to refresh until the trim operation is completed (when the mouse button is released). Obviously that's less than ideal. It's not an intermittent behaviour, rather it happens every time, regardless of source. Playback also seems a little hesitant (i.e. theres a brief pause between hitting the spacebar and playback I'm testing with a project freshly created in PPro CC2018, with all rushes imported via Media Browser. The original source media is on USB 3 attached SSD drives. The cache/previews are on an internal SSD drive. Everything has been working beautifully in PPro CC2017 using the exact same basic setup. To test further, I exported the CC 2018 project as an XML and then imported that into a new Premiere CC 2017 project. All clips / bins and sequences came through the interchange without issue... and in CC2017, the exact same footage/edits are behaving perfectly. No issues whatsoever with scrubbing, trimming or playback. Any ideas? Cheers Andy
