You can start with a multi colored sample gradient like this:
Then click on the colors of the gradient in the option bar, so you can work in the Gradient Editor.
Click on a Color Stop and, with te color picker, pick up a color in your sample image (make sure you open this image in Photoshop). Do the same with the other Color Stops. You can make further adjustments by dragging the stops, adding new ones of removing them.
Click New to make a new Gradient Preset. Now you can use your Gradient.
Finally draw the circles on a new Layer and lower the opacity of this Layer.

Another way is to choose Select > All in the PNG, and then choose Edit > Copy. Then make the destination image active, and choose Edit > Paste.

A good starting point is Filter > Sharpen > Unsharp Mask. Zoom in and use the sliders to sharpen the image enough, but with little distortion.

You have to make 2 layers, one with the frame on top and one with the image underneath it. For that you can copy one image and paste it into the other one. In the frame layer, select the current image that you don’t need, and press backspace to remove it. Now your image is visible in the frame.

When you add the new layer choose Layer > New > Layer Via Copy and the stone will appear in the new layer. You can always remove the dotted line by typing Ctrl / Cmd D.

There are lots of ways you can do this. For instance
Duplicate the backgound layer
Make a selection of the part you want to hide
Fill with black with Edit > Fill.
Instead of filling with black you can blur the part with Filter > Blur > Gaussian blur. This gives a more professional looking result.

In the Photoshop menu, choose File > Save as. In the window that opens choose 'Save on your computer' .
If you have already chosen 'Don't show again' this window will not open but the option will appear in the 'Save as' window.

The new Object Selection tool does not (always) show up immediately under the Quick Selection tool. You can find it under Edit Toolbar in the Customize Toolbar Window. There you can drag it into the Toolbar.

Hi Roland,
Een mogelijke andere oplossing is het resetten van de Voorkeuren van Photoshop. Soms blijven hier corrupte interne voorkeuren in hangen die dit soort problemen kunnen veroorzaken. In de Engelse versie ga je daarvoor naar Preferences > General kies onderaan Reset Preferences On Quit. Klik op OK en start Photoshop opnieuw op. Hopelijk help dit!
Of de andere Photoshop versie er iets mee te maken kan hebben weet ik niet, maar het lijkt me niet.

Hi, you can select the area's that you want to use (without the shapes in the middle) and copy this on a new layer using Layer > New > Layer via copy. Now put the image layer on top and make the clipping mask with Layer > Create clipping mask. Or alt/option click between the two layers.

A smart object is not directly editable for this purpose. If you want to cut or delete the selection you have to rasterize the layer: right click on the layer and choose Rasterize Layer.

The size of your GIF is 1649 px x2361 px. But when you render the video the size is set to 600 x 1100 px. This is a horizontal format so Photoshop makes the black borders to fill in the empty space. Just change the size to 1649 x 2361 px and your GIF will be OK.

There is no sensitivity range or tolerance within this tool. Select subject is just a very quick way to make a rough selection of the most prominent part of the photo. To refine the selection you can use any of the other selection tools, e.g. the Quick selection tool or the Magic wand tool. Or you can use Select and Mask like Nancy suggested.
