How can I find clients and bring income using Adobe Captivate 9? From my other questions you might think I am very new to Adobe Products. However, I go back to 2000 working with applications such as Photoshop, Flash (Macromedia at the time), and more. But now that I am a new comer to Adobe Captivate 9 I am sold! But I have to know I can make income from it. So I ask the other e-learning professionals here, how do I make Adobe Captivate work for me by bringing in income?

I solved the issue. Put my old memory cap on. I exported the large image files as pngs. I imported them into Adobe InDesign and then exported it as a reduced size pdf.

I think I will wait and not install Hot Fix for now. I read some problems here in the Adobe forums and I can't afford to have anything go wrong. This is due Wednesday.

Hi again. This is driving me a little batty. I keep on fixing it and it keeps on getting messed up. Why are the States on the text buttons I create moving? When I fix it it happens again. I am clearly doing something wrong. As you can see the Normal Default is in one area and the Roll Over is in another. It's happening over and over again. I don't understand.

The apply affects it showing up when I check it on an iPad. It's NOT showing up when I view it from my Firefox browser. I wonder why? I am choosing "Publish for All Devices." I Publish For All Devices how I should present it to them on my iPad? Thanks

I would like both if possible. They want a "soft copy" of my work. By soft copy it means in digital format. Can I import a Flash Player into the file for the PDF? Does Adobe allow me to do that? Thanks to both fo you.

In the Adobe Captivate 9 Responsive Project mode, I see that it has Desktop,Table Portrait, and Mobile Portrait are default. I choose all of them, (Desktop, Custom Tablet, Table Portrait, Custom Mobile and Mobile Portrait). For the sake of time, I only want to work with the Desktop and Custom Mobile Breakpoint. I want to delete all the Portrait Breakpoints but Captivate does not give me a delete check box. Can I delete all the Breakpoints except for the Desktop and Custom Mobile Breakpoint? Thanks

Unbelievable. All of a sudden with this new version of my project I am unable to view the project. Why does it bring me here? I FOUND OUT WHY. I will put the answer here in case anyone else needs the answer. Turns out I did not put the correct url string in the button for the pdf for the url I want it to download. It needed the http://nameofwebsite/nameofthefile.pdf but it was not showing that. It was only showing nameofthefile.pdf

I did find that turning off Pause After (seconds time) allows the timeline to play to the end. However, now it goes into the next slide during preview.

The trial version of Adobe Captivate 9. For now I can use the characters that same in the demo projects. I will copy and past a character into my job. I have another very important question. 1. Why aren't the visual effects showing up in my preview when I test it on my browser? 2. Why is the timeline ending at a certain point? It's not playing the animation fully. Thanks for your help.

Thanks. For some reason it exported to only 856kb today whereas, it exported to 15.6mgs yesterday! And I exported as a High Quality. Obviously, I am missing a big step. Can you answer one more question? I am adding hyperlinks to my imported PNGs. I thought these embedded hyperlinks would export to PDF. But they are not active once I open them in Adobe Acrobat. What am I doing wrong? Also, how do I make sure these hyperlinks work from within Adobe inDesign? Thanks

How do I make sure my text and objects shows up in different view sizes? Am I correct that sometimes I just have to manually make sure they fit? I see Captivate has a "show for rest of slide" option. Will selecting this do it? Does does the Sync with Playhead do? Also, when I try to get a object box look the same it doesn't. How do I make sure it looks the same?
