Hello everyone, I inserted a CPVC file into my Adobe Captivate 8 CPTX file. I want to make the timeline STOP at a point and then have a button make the timeline go to a new area in the timeline. I would appreciate the best way to do this. Thank you for your help.

I imported an MP3 file into an invisible object within Captive 8. It is NOT playing when I Preview the Project. However, it's IS playing when I play the Timeline within Captivate. I made sure the Properties has the audio selected. I choose NO when asked if I wanted to apply the audio duration to my timeline. Thanks for your help.

Thanks. I want to make the Captivate lesson more interactive so the student can move forward at her/his own pace. So I will be using actions in order to make the lessons more interactive. Right now I am thinking simple object actions to go to the next screen. However, I am sure it will get more complicated as I build it.

When went to Adobe Illustrator cc, 2015's Document Color Mode and changed it from RGB to CMYK the Color Halftone changed to black and white which is what I wanted to begin with. I wonder why that is?

After creating a path that has many anchor points, what is the best way to smooth that path? I know about the Smooth Tool under the Pencil options. Does this do the same thing? I hope there is a more efficient way. I am using Adobe Illustrator cc 2015 Thanks for your help.

After working with it I found the Fade In and Fade Out option within the Properties panel. One thing I noticed, is, that the Fade In and Fade Out option within Adobe Captivate 8 only can be heard when I Preview the Project and NOT when I play the slide within Captivate.

Good morning, In Adobe Captivate 8 there is an Advanced Audio Management tool. I notice it has a Fade In and Fade Out section. It's obvious this is there to display the length that the audio fades in and fades out. Am I correct? Am I able to add a fade in our fade out from within the Advanced Audio Management Tool? Where might I be able to add or edit the Fade In and Fade Out option? Thank you.

I no longer have a working edition of Captivate 9. The reflection effect does show up on Google Chrome, and Safari on my OS X computer. It also shows up on the browsers on an iPad. It does NOT show up on my Firefox browser for OSX. Perhaps I have to update the Flash plug in for Firefox? Sorry for the late reply.
