In reading your post, I spotted something: Your workflow description includes a visit/click to 'Edit'. For what it's worth, I am running Windows 10 & Acrobat Pro DC Pro - and copying text functions as expected on your sample document.  A thought, though, is that the file opened for me (after clicking the link) in a browser, and my browser settings instruct an online PDF to be displayed in Adobe's browser plugin.  When opened in the desktop Acrobat application, it also behaved 'properly'.  Are you trying to copy the text from inside a browser presentation of the PDF? My option grays out when  I do NOT  have a toolset (across the top) visible. When activated, it only adds the labels to the individual visible toolbars... not the row of always visible tools. Corey,   You'll have the most flexibility if you use the  PDF Maker (Acrobat Ribbon) in Excel.   There's a  Preferences button that will allow you to control the conversion. Using Excel's Save as PDF command isn't nearly as controllable. I hope this is helpful. Dave ... View more
