Other than resetting the LrC preference file, I don't have any ideas as to what's causing the crash after startup. The Creative Cloud App does not need to be in your computer startup routine. Any services that Adobe apps 'require' are actually loaded automatically and independently of the CC App. FWIW, I haven't allowed the CC App to launch at login for years. The only time I even launch it is to update an application.

Make sure that you select the card reader that shows up under 'Files' rather than 'Devices'. This is Adobe's default import path as it avoids some bugs (Apple) within the Devices path that can cause performance issues, etc.

I forgot to answer your question "How long does it last for you?" Using my Apple MacBook Pro M3 max, denoising a Canon EOS R6 MkII (24MP) file is estimated to take 9 seconds whereas it actually takes 13 seconds. Using the same computer, a Canon EOS R5 (45MP) file is estimated to take 15 seconds whereas it actually takes 19 seconds. Note that my figures are based on megapixels not megabytes, hence denoise appearing to take signicantly lomger than your example.

Yes, all appears to be normal. 8 seconds is much faster than many users. So, I really would not be concerned about it.

There's a slighty (approximately 10 days) newer driver for your GPU that you might wish to install. That being said, it probably won't make much, if any, difference to the tempatures you're seeing. As others have indicated Denoise will push the CPU and GPU hard, especially when batching files. If the ventilation ducts are clear and the fan is cooling harward, then all seems fine.

Please provide a copy of your Lightroom Classic 'System Info'. You can obtain this via the Help > System Info menu item. System Info will give us a much more detailed description of your hardware along with driver information, etc Note that the System Info window includes a Copy button. Use this to copy the information, then paste into a forum post.

Your driver is set for plain paper printing (i.e. General everyday printing). Try setting the driver to 'Photo Printing with white borders'.

It's possible that your GPU has failed the self test at LrC startup. To help us diagnose the cause of your issue and provide a fix, please post your System Info. You can copy this from the LrC Help > System Info menu item.

Again, whatever you're doing in the edit session is causing the memory pressure to become so high that it triggers the large swap file. When this happens performance will deteriorate until Lr is closed. When Lr is closed the memory that it was using is released, hence performance returns to normal. We have no way of knowing what the underlying cause of excessive memory use is on your side. However, using the tools already at your dispoal (i.e. Acivity Monitor and iStat Menus) you can monitor memory pressure as you edit.

The preview you see on the back of camera and for a short time after import is the embedded jpeg preview not the raw image itself. Typically, what you're seeing is due to the file being corrupt. Often, this can be due to a failing memory card or the card reader (includes the cable). However, you mention that the corruption may only appear a day or so later, which suggests that your hard drive / ssd may be failing.

Printer Color Management is a generic term used to indicate that the colour management setup is handled within the printer driver. See pages 490-493 of Martin's book for examples of Mac and Windows setup. Note that driver appearance from different printer vendors will vary. Likewise, more recent drivers may vary from those in the book. That being said Epson drivers today remain very similar to those in the book.

Black Point Compsenation is hardwired into the LrC print output (i.e. BPC is automatically applied). I've attached the screenshot from the thread that @Conrad_C provided a link to above. If Printer Colour Management is chosen by the user, then the print driver automatically makes the adjustment.

Not stupid or blind because the feature doesn't exist . Therefore, if you want to add notes, you'lll need to use a third party plugin such as Big Note http://lightroomsolutions.com/plug-ins/big-note/ There may be other plugins that offer similar capability.
