Just start with the blank one in Encore (for your size/aspect), and edit in photoshop. The two big problems for beginners is getting the pixel size or par wrong. They had to upgrade now because the version they were using was no longer supported. That older Jive version had customizations that made the Jive experience somewhat more palatable for Adobe forum veterans. You already have Premiere CS6 installed in your cloud desktop. I do not know how to fix a problem when you "uninstalled it locally" and that did not remove it from the cloud. I would, however, log out of your cloud desktop and back in. You have a mixture of "Try" and "Install" in your "find new apps," and that is one way to clear some issues up. If the sign out/sign in routine does not fix it, search the cloud forum for the issue of cloud showing an installed version when you have uninstalled it locally. ... View more

The situation is frustrating. We really just don't know. You are missing that Rovio (the company that we believes now owns the authorcore at issue) is not out of business. They have deliberately stopped selling it. In their view, I suspect they see themselves as helping the world to move along to streaming. I mean the world adapted to no 8-track tapes, right? Rovio no longer sells the sdk, and it is possible that Adobe's only option was to develop DVD/BD authoring from the ground up. We don't know how much Adobe offered to keep the rights to create a CC version. I'm not sure which threads you have read, but many of the issues in Mavericks were driven by permissions not being set for adobe programs to be able to write to various folders, and it is my belief (although without enough users reporting), that Encore does still work with Macs. Once in the profile, pick the "content" tab. You have more options for filtering, and can look at threads you started ("authored") as well as those you participated in. The activity tab lists your activity with no control over what is listed. As you scroll to the bottom, it will add more from the past. ... View more

What's wrong ? You can't just burn movie files onto a disk. A DVD player is looking for a disk with a VIDEO_TS folder, and inside that various .ifo and .vob files that provide very specific directions as to which files contain the "streams" that are the video and audio. You cannot create a DVD that plays on a DVD player without "authoring" the disk. The Adobe product, Encore, was discontinued as of CS6 - and can be used in its CS6 version for cloud subscribers. This error usually means you are trying to run it in trial mode. I would retest a manual install. Has Premiere Pro been activated? As John suggests, contact support. I "assume" they provide support for activating products, even if the OS is not officially supported. I have not seen any reports that Encore will not activate on any operating system: Mavericks or not, it should activate, and you should not get this message. ... View more
