It is also the second item in the "Products" list of links at the bottom of that page. No idea. I might just try exporting from Premiere/Adobe Media Encoder, which will give a constant frame rate. If that doesn't match the real video length, I don't know what to suggest. While that is good, the problem is that, I assume, the subtitles were synced to the m4v's you have that are variable frame rate. But since the nominal, and I assume average, frame rate is 23.976, I would expect minor variations in subtitle sync, not 3 seconds. Encore sees your file as 3 seconds shorter than its properties as gauged by (looks like) media info? I would try to clean up the frame rate outside Encore, so it is more likely to have the subtitles sync. ... View more

Your video file is variable frame rate. I don't know if that alone is the issue, but that is a problem for Encore. What is the transcode status in Encore? Do not transcode, untranscoded? I suspect that is the issue in the video length vs encore video length. ... View more

Generally speaking, projects can be opened in later versions, but not older versions.  It's been that way for a long time now, regardless of license. True of Premiere. Illustrator, for example, allows saving to much early versions. After Effects CS6 allows saving as CS5.5. ... View more

I was told today by Adobe that under the new Cloud program, all updates, etc. will only be available  through the Cloud program.  In other words, if you have CS6, and they come up with a fix for for a known issue, you won't have access to that fix outside of the Cloud.  New apps, features, etc yes. I'll reserve judgment. But I upgraded to CS6 in part to have a perpetual license fall back that was as up to date as I could afford. There is now no choice better than that - as a perpetual license fall back - your only perpetual license option will be CS6. I can't find the note now, but someone commented that the ability to buy CS6 as a perpetual license by download will be available for an extended time. I do not see that in the announcement, however. I'd be more angry, if some of the assumptions were correct. But they are not. I recommend that you read the FAQs to make sure that you are angry about the right things! http://www.adobe.com/products/creativecloud/faq.html For example, cloud members will have access to previous versions in the future, to deal with old projects. This will start with CS6, and older versions that than will rely on your perpetual licenses if you had them.
