While I was easily able to reproduce the issue on Win 10 before 23.4.1 (and 23.4), I'm not seeing either a delay in the preview or zoom anymore on either Mac or Win. A couple of questions that may help us better debug the issue: 1. What are you driving Photoshop with (mouse/tablet/other)? 2. What type of files are you using when you experience the slow zoom (layers/size/bit depth)? Thanks, Adam

I was able to easily reproduce this in 23.3.2 but can no longer reproduce in 23.4.1 (Windows 10). Can you try downloading the Photoshop Beta (23.5) and see if the problem occurs there as well? Thanks.

Also you can try disabling GPU Compositing. Preferences > Performance > Advanced Settings (Graphics Processor Settings) > uncheck GPU Compositing, quit and restart. Does that help?

The issue appears to be related to your configuration, as I have two Windows 10 systems and can't reproduce the problem. Can you do me a favor and share the GPU info from System Info? I'm curious about video card, driver date, and number of monitors. Gracias por tu ayuda.

The following things need to be set in order to view HDR on Mac: 1. In System Prefs > Displays choose a Preset that supports HDR (P3-500 or greater, I'm using P3-1600) 2. In Photoshop go to Preferences > Technology Previews > and enable Precise color management for HDR display 3. Quit and re-launch Photoshop and should be able to see HDR images displayed correctly to screen

Please add the following line to the existing PSUserConfig.txt file: EnableDocumentGroup 0 Then re-launch the application. Does that help mitigate the crashes?

While the team continues to work on getting a proper fix out for this issue, I have a temporary workaround. 1. Create a plain text file called PSUserConfig.txt that contains the following string UXPLearnAndSearch 0 2. Place that txt file in the following location: C:\Users\[User Name]\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CC 2022\Adobe Photoshop 2022 Settings 3. re-launch Photoshop CC 2022 Please let me know if that works for now and we'll keep working on getting a patch out with a proper fix. Thanks.

Hi Robbie, Can you try a quick test for me? Try disabling the Camera Raw plug-in (by adding a tilda '~' to the front of the file name: ~CameraRaw.8bi) in the following location: /Program Files/Common Files/Adobe/Plug-ins/CC/File Formats/ Make sure to quit before making the change and the restart. Can someone try the following: Navigate to Preferences > Plug-ins and uncheck 'Allow Extensions to Connect to the Internet' and 'Load Extension Panels' - then quit and restart. Does saving to the external, exFAT drive work now?
