You'll need to use something like an .mp3. You can convert your track to mp3 and then use it in Lightroom.

I must be missing something here as every time I tried doing what you're saying in all these years I've been using and training Lightroom this has never worked... I always rename images straight after import and Lr never tries to import them again... Am I missing something here?

Remember that when you import media into Premiere it creates links to original media. If you moved or renamed video clips Premiere won't find them and won't be able to use them.

If your images are 20 Megapixels then they'll be 5472x3648 which gives you a lot of pixels to work with. It will depend on what the resolution of your footage in PR is going to be, i.e. Full HD is 1920 x 1080, which gives you a photo which is about 3x bigger so you could zoom in by a factor of 3.

Even if you edit images or rename them, Lightroom won't import them again (it's all based on metadata).

To answer your last question, people still use Lr Classic because they don't want their images stored on adobe servers. Most people that come to my Lightroom courses prefer their images to be stored on their local drives (or external drives) and use Lr Classic. As to your "slow computer" question, how much RAM have you got and what's your processing power? How much RAM is Lightroom using?

When you remove a collection, it doesn't remove the images because the images don;t really exist in the collection. A collection is just a link to images in your catalogue (and your hard drive). That's why when you remove a collection, Lightroom doesn't give you any warning dialogue box.

Tell us more about the issue. Are you exporting video using File > Export > Render Video and getting this dialogue box in Premiere? Or is it in Media Encoder?

When you chose to Add images it won't ask you for destination. "Add" just uses images currrent location.

When you import images into Lightroom, in the Import dialogue box you can choose Add: This will add images form their current location on your hard drive without moving them anywhere.

This is way too slow machine for Photoshop, with only 2GB of RAM and Intel Celeron processor. Sorry You'll need at least 4GB of RAM and at least Intel i3 processor

Sometimes it starts showing long processing time but then it spees up Give it a try and see if it goes down after a few minutes.
