ImpactMerchCreative, I somewhat recreate your inspiration image. Here are the steps I took.   Spiral Tool, create a spiral. In your Document Info panel, it shows that spiral length is 963.682 pt.   To make the Pattern Brush, I made a seamless pattern with the notes. Width 963 pt Shown in green, is the repeat. (Your stroke will have a Fill & Stroke of color none) Group your vector notes and stroked rectangle.   Make Pattern Brush   The Spiral, I gave it stroke weight of 40pt I also applied a custom Variable width to the spiral.   Finally, I applied the Music pattern brush to that spiral. Pragaa, I was able to duplicate your text. Why it auto distorted, I don’t know. Aidan, my go to is usually Live Paint as Monika suggested. Here I am using Live Paint Strokes. I random color as I work. Here are the steps I used.   To recreate that Impossible Triangle, I used Object>Live Paint>Create. I colored the exterior shape first, shown in pink. Then I recolored the inside strokes. Each a unique color. Use stroke color of None to discard the strokes you do not need.   Next, Expand Live paint. Ungroup. Select one of the colors, Select>Same>Stroke color. Then Object>Path>Join. Do for each of those color. At the end, you should have 1 close path and 3 open paths.   At the end, you can Group and recolor as one color. Hope that helps. K ... View more

Aleathem, Hi.   Here I am working with strokes. Top stroke has a larger stroke weight and larger height. The bottom stroke has a smaller stroke weight and a smaller height. Create a Blend.   I duplicated that Blend and centered aligned it within a very large circle (stroke color of none) Group your Blend and the large circle. Next Effects>Transform. Infomamun,Hi. I think I solved the mystery.   I took your original shirt and separated all the paths. Select your closed path of shirt. Then go to Select>Object>Direction handles. Then cut. Delete what’s left (all anchor points). Then paste in place.   That revealed the two arcs were duplicated and pasted in place.   So knowing that, I did the same on test paths.
