Slightly different to what I thought...so here is what I do...(and I am doing this as we speak) I have my select interview parts in a Sequence and the client has a TC movie of that sequence. Client listed some preferences So... I got to that clip in the sequence and ALT /Up Arrow... so the Video Nudges up One Track. It now stands out in Sequence so I can use it as and when I am ready. Its a system I have used for ever and it keep so the TC References relevant. FWiW - If I want to super select my clip choice...I Nudge it up Two Tracks. SIMPLE eh! I would still like to be able to Butt Left and Butt Right..... Kevin.

Works here too... I realised that the clip I was Corner Pinning had 'Scale to Frame Size" applied. This caused the issue. Kind of logical when you think about it!

Not sure why you are talking about frame rate (fps) I will try a lower frame rate You may be confusing frame rate with data rate. Try lowering data rate to Target 10 but.... You may need cooling in your hardware. Overheating is likely cause of issue. Open the side and direct a floor fan inside next time you try exporting.

You need to craft the grade your self and not rely on instant fix eg Lumetri Presets. Study the reference and analyse what it is eg the blacks are crushed. Where are the mid tones, where are the highlights.... The Blend Mode is likely to be Screen with various Opacity parameters

Simple editing of two video tracks. The Master Video is the wide shot. So use the upper Layer for that. The Intercut is the close up on a Video Track below that. Place each on its own Video Track and synch them to each other and the audio Track Lock the Audio Track. Edit the Master (upper track) at the point you need a close up using the Razor Tool. ie cut out a section of Master Shot to reveal the C lose Up. Basic but easy technique. Note - You need to understand Track Targeting for this so the Razor Tool only cuts the Master Track

The other way is to Time remap (or whatever)...and export a Digital Intemediate...then use that for whatever else. I am a believer in minimising load on the processor while editing. ie a smoother experience for FX laden clips.

There will always be a BG of some sort in video. It might be white, black o, photographic or inserted...but there is no such thing as no BG You can not show "Transparent". By definition --- transparency will show "something".

or... Do a Column Sort Order on any column that will randomise them. ie something that is not alpha/numeric. Select ALL and then Automate to Sequence to drop them in one go on the timeline.

Go into Meta Data Display from the 'Hamburger Menu' ( the multiple lines icon top of the Project window.) You may have an un named Boolean Property Box checked some where. You can also re order your Columns directly by dragging them left and right in the headers.

You create the video effect and you create the audio effect (or you buy the sound effect from a library)...and you edit them together. The sound effects are hard to name ...so are hard to search for ....yet they are very familiar to everyone. eg Star Wars Try a sound FX Library - "space, robot, computer sounds"
