It does not appear that the version of Premeire Pro lets me choose output quality (available on the export screen on the MacBook) nor does it appear that ProRes export format is available for an archive-quality export. Very unlikely! I am sure the full range of Export Options are available and its nothing to do with PPro version or even your new Mac.

There are a lot of techniques involved in those intros so if you are looking for a simple solution...there aint one. The techniques are motion graphics, good type design and composition. Plus Type Animation and visual fx. Each needs learning before one can accomplish the combination. Break them down section by section and practise them. You will learn fast. Its a job for After Effects so look for relevant AE tutorials . eg the techniques keywords above.

Really really wild suggestion! Try Disabling 'File Indexing' (and delete caches) FWIW - I regularly compile a huge bunch of still photographs into multiple mp4 "slide shows" for photographic exhibitions. These files come to me with random ( and very slack) file naming protocols...mixed png, jpg, psd.....(bloody arty still photographers!)...but I have never ever had the issue as per this thread. I import to bins via Media Browser> Select all...then sort in Bin.

Line the cameras up to the reference in separate Video Tracks. Place Marks at thee edit points as per the reference... and work through it. Or Gang the lined up Cameras to the Reference in the Source Monitor and work through it making cuts.

Just a comment on 3rd part Presets. Find some way of managing and filing them so they can be re located and reinstalled,,, in case next versions of PPro do not carry them through. This can cause legacy projects to have issues!

I have posted a Feature Request if others wish to support it...copy and paste. Wishform - Adobe Premiere Pro How would you like the feature to work? Select a Clip (or asset) in the timeline. Use a shortcut key (or combination) that "butts: the clip to the next edit point (clip/asset) left or right..... without Rippling the tracks. (Rippling Tracks already has effective tools) Why is this feature important to you? The ability to quickly tighten and compile a sequence without gaps.
