Why Are My Fonts Keep Reverting back to Basic Fonts

Hello

I recently downloaded a font i need for a specific Project that has the "Blade Move title font" i downloaded the font from a website and then put it into the "Fonts" folder on my C:'' drive,

in premiere it shows the font but when i select it ,  and try to type it reverts back to a stock font any idea why its doing this?

Did you install the Font in to your O.S?

from what i think i did correctly yes, in my c drive folder windows " that says fonts

It might not be enough to just put it in the Fonts folder.  You should always Install a font by right clicking on it.  (Do this with all programs closed.)

You might try creating the title in Photoshop instead of Premiere Pro.

I need the font for subtitles, is there a workaround for that?

Subtitles, or Captions?  (Two different things.)
