Hello,
It is not quite as easy as converting AS3 to HTML5, but considering that you can use Animate HTML5, it is possible.
THere is nothing automatic here. You will have to redo what you did in EA in Animate CC.
If you have code it will be a little different since EA using CSS3 but Animate is CANVAS.
You css elements will become movie clip (probably).
The Animate timeline is a little different but not entirely. You probably can set up your elements in a very similar way.

In your html page, the id for the animate composition is "animation_container". Use that.
Just because it is canvas does not make a difference I think.

All you need to do is create the button and add a click event with for example.

OK. I found out that setting the height with CSS is what messes things up. I sized the components into the UI using a reference image and tested on all computers and it seems to be OK.

I am having some issues (ANCC 2019 and 2020 alike) with input components I format dynamically.
They appear shifted and have different height tho the height is assigned in CSS on different computers.

Not sure why this is happening. They all show up in mine. Are you on Mac or Windows?
Maybe reinstall. I had a problem with the code snippet windows and it was fined when I reinstalled. I rebooted too for good measure.

Let me see if I understand properly. You are using HTML5.
If you are talking about playing in reverse on the timeline, it does not exist.
If you are talking about playing some movieclips that have a timeline showing forward and reverse this can be done on click event.
If you want these to work I would place all my code on frame one.
Each button or movie clip can be refered with _this.
If you want I can create some sample to show how this could be done.

You can publish 32 bit will asset but not with texture or sprite sheets.

Vous pouvez remplacer les scenes en creant des movieclips ou bien en ayant des frames qui commencent chaque "scene".

Make a button with only the hit area as a rectangle and put it over your text. The button will automatically be transparent.
In the past the rectangle would have shown as transparent blue but it does not anymore.
You can put this button in your text movieclip or you can just put it over the movieclip outside of it.
In anycase, give this button an instance name and address the button instead of the movieclip.

I am wondering if you are working from a synched google drive.
Here is what I found when I get the error shown below. Most of the time I get this error message but also if I try another file I get a message concerning the publish path.
1 - the publish path has changed to a long path starting with square brackets and [C:\\user\\\\....\Google drive\foldername\]
2- the correct path should be ../foldername/index
3- when correcting the path it is possible to publish.
It seems that when closing the file the path is changed to the long address. (I do not give the whole address here for privacy reasons).
This is a new error since this never happened in the past. It is pretty recent.

The error does not seem to come from a custom loading screen. I am getting the same error more and more often now and I do not have any custom screen.
As you mentioned tho, I did the same thing and created a new file and copy pasted my layers from the file with the error and it works every time.
I will report this bug today.

I never had this happen before so I am wondering what the problem could be:
errror in console:
TypeError: lib.NAMEOFHEPREVIOUSFILE is not a constructor
(note I removed the actual name of the file for privacy concerns but in the console this is the name of the previous file before I saved with the new name) and this error message occurs when I publish from the new file.
The previous file is still working just fine.
Workflow: I work in sections so when I finish a section, I save the ANCC file with a new name and proceed with the new section.
Never has a problem before but now with this happening I just can't save the file with a new name and continue with this project as usual.
Any idea why this is happening?

I personally prefer to give names to frames so that there is no confusion. Try it and see if that will solve your problem. Also you might consider enabling/diabling buttons depending of what you do. the code for that is:

Of course there are multiple ways to handle things like this.
at the end of your timeline you can tell the arrows to animate. Now I am not sure what you mean by "start to animate". Are these symbols which their own timeline? If so I suppose you have a stop at the beginning. Then you can add this on the text timeline.
this.arrow.play();
or
this.arrow.gotoAndPlay(1); // 1 because I suppose 0 has the stop code
Now you could also use the same timeline as the text and animate the arrows there if the animation of the arrow is not inside the arrows.
So we need a little more explanation to be able to assess what is actually going on.
