Hi all, I've just upgraded to the 2019 suite. Since doing so, when placing CMYK Illustrator graphics into InDesign they display as RGB when in Typical Display under Display Performance. If I change to High Quality Display they display correctly. It's no biggie but as I work in CMYK more often than not, it's a bit frustrating to either have to reopen my graphics to double check I've got the correct Document Colour Mode in Illustrator or to have to toggle between Typical and High Quality Display modes in InDesign. Does anyone know of a way to change this so that the Typical Display mode displays CMYK graphics as CMYK? This is a 100% cyan box created in Illustrator and placed into ID 2019 and viewed in Typical Display mode. Hi all, InDesign CC 13.1 OS 10.13.4 We've been using the FindChangeByList scripts (Javascript and Applescript versions) for some years now. I don't know anything about scripting but had enough commonsense to manage to amend the scripts to make some very simple changes at the push of a button. We used the Javascript version to search for certain tags in placed text (header levels and bullet point levels) and then change the paragraph styles to commonly named paragraph styles. Unfortunately the Javascript FindChangeByList script started throwing an error (in InDesign CS5, I think) and no longer does what it used to do. I've tried using the RecordFindChange script that was around (albeit for CS3-CS5). The results that brings up looks OK to me, but if I copy and paste them into the existing .txt files then I just get errors. As I say, I don't have the scripting knowledge to know where to go with this so any help would be gratefully received. So, I'm trying to get the script to search text placed into an InDesign doc. It's supposed to look for and change "<<A>>", "<<B>>", "<<b1>>" and "<<b2>>" into "A Header", "B Header", "Body Bullet" and "Body Bullet 2" respectively. I have a series of movies which I intended to individually import into PhotoShop CS6 Extended, add end credits, and then export WITHOUT SOUND. For the life of me, I can't see any way to remove the audio from the movies! I'm sure this feature was easily available in the PS CS6 beta version. Any clues? ... View more
