As john says if you want to do it manually, there is a folder in your dreamweaver configuration folder : Menus\Custom Sets, in there you'll see an xml file with the name of your custom keyboard shortcut set. Keep it somewhere safe and you can copy and paste in that same folder again in future..

Do a Google search for site map generator, there are tools about these that can create a sitemap by crawling your site... There is also this: https://www.dmxzone.com/go/10538/google-sitemap-generator-2/ but I would check with the developers if it works with the latest Dreamweaver versions

Some code formatting issues with PHP have been around for a long time, some were fixed/some still remain. Also I'm guessing Dreamweaver does not officially supports PHP 8 as in preferences the highest version option is PHP 7.1, so it is way behind the curve....

here they are 🙂 .... Jut unzip and copy to Fireworks Commands folder, converted images are saved in same folder as FW PNGs ... I don't think the PSD export feature in Fireworks is perfect but I think it will retain more editability than Photopea.

I only install from the offline installer and haven't had any issues for sometime 🤞 ... Keep the Fireworks offline installer safe for next time 👍 I have some Fireworks Commands for batch converting FW PNGs to other layered formats like PSD too if you need them.

this is from Microsoft with regards tio using OEM software on a VM : "Use in a virtualized environment. This license allows you to install only one instance of the software for use on one device, whether that device is physical or virtual. If you want to use the software on more than one virtual device, you must obtain a separate license for each instance." Like I said, you can pick up OEM Windows cheap and you can use on a VM.

You can pick Windows OEM licenses up much cheaper ..... It is not ideal carrying a second old laptop around. User will have to make the call on costs, depends how important it is to them ...

First thing to do would be to download and install a trial of Parallels Desktop, it will allow you to run Windows virtual machine on your Mac. I strongly advise Once you have Parallels Desktop installed and running, you'll need to install the Creative Cloud app (I'm assuming you have a Creative Cloud subscription). You'll probably notice Fireworks isn't available but don't worry you can download a standalone installer from here and *IMPORTANT* be sure to visit this page first to set an Adobe cookie Install and see if it launches, as I say work fine for me .....

Hi - I'm afraid Fireworks won't run on Monterey as it doesn't support 32 bit applications. I have Fireworks on my Macbook Air M1 using Parallels Desktop , only caveat was I had to download an offline installer for Fireworks as it wasn't available in the Creative Cloud app when I installed it... If you'd like more info let me know...

Close Fireworks. launch the Creative Cloud app and logout.... Relaunch Fireworks, if you see a 'License This Software' button (check out the forums too for other solutions). Also try running FIreworks as an administrator Other thing you can try is to uninstall Fireworks completely, then install with an offline installer instead from here *NOTE* Make sure you visit this page first before downloading to set an Adobe cookie, these are links to official Adobe installers. I always install Fireworks with the offline installer and have not had any issues running/using Fireworks on Windows 10 and Windows 11. Assumption here is you are on a PC?

Hi - just to reiterate the markup from Fireworks exported HTML is way to old and outdated for today's web standards. The center tag is also obselete (although it may work)... I would suggest the basics of HTML5 and CSS Grid for layout which is surprisingly easy to learn.

Hi - the HTML export feature of Fireworks is not fit for todays' web I'm afraid.... I think most people use Fireworks for graphic elements, maybe even UI mockups as it is a really user friendly graphics editor that combines both vector and bitmap editing an an intuitive way. You should never use the HTML export feature though as its not been updated for nearly 10 years and the output is woefully out of date....

I have a new M1 Macbook Air and successfully running Fireworks CS6 with Parallels Desktop, the only caveat was I had to install Fireworks with an Windows offline installer from here ..... before attempting to download visit this page first to set an Adobe cookie. Install the Creative Cloud app first, then install Fireworks with the offline installer.

This is a link to some batch commands, you can copy to your Fireworks commands folder and batch convert layered Fireworks PNGs to other formats including layered PSD. If you have a newer version of Mac OS that does not support 32 bit applications (Catalina, Big Sur or Monterey) you will not be able to run Fireworks natively but you can look at running the Windows version version of Fireworks on a Mac with Parallels Desktop which some people have had success with. Other options include Photopea which opens layered Fireworks PNGs My experience is Fireworks is working great on Windows 11, although I see some people have had issues....

Only other thing I can suggest at this point Drew is trying to do a complete Adobe cleanup and starting again using the cleaner tool ... I would definately look at installing Fireworks with an offline installer instead of using the Creative Cloud app. You can download an offlline installer from here, read the instructions before downloading, as you need to access this page first and login with your Adobe credentials to set an Adobe cookie before downloading, they are links to official Adobe installers, so safe to use.
