Jane, Could you be interested to realize a review [screenshot/video/laïus] of this future script [not for free] that will just do it in 1 click, simply based on the title para style? (^/)

Salut Philippe [Loïc 😉 ], Je serais curieux [question de temps] d'implémenter une approche "tags XML" sur ce script [son code n'est pas dans le domaine public !]: … qui repose sur Grep (dans l'immédiat !). (^/)

Peter, I've effectively taken your 2nd way! Some weeks ago, someone asked me to write a script to detect this kind of problem! … and "only find" the 4 words with partial bold! This person knew the corrections needed to be "manual"! … … Because, if the 3 first needed to be in bold, not the 4th [just the first letter in bold! So the script "jumps" [using a shortcut] through the words with problem, selecting one after the other (and only them: partial bolded) and the op can decide how to correct them: "Bold or not bold! … That is the question!!" Make an "all replace" is, by experience, very dangerous! … and that wasn't my client's choice! I discovered at this moment that [JS] considers "Peter)," as a "word" in the sentence "… Peter),"! Rather boring! That's why I said ".words[0]" doesn't work correctly! (^/)

Hi corullon! … Hi Krzysztofa, Do you only want to search words not completely in "bold"? … and of course, not find words totally in "bold"! (^/)

Supposing you could have 1 billion of dollars or just 1 dollar in your pocket, you'll need 2 regex to fix it! 1/ Find: (\$)([\d,]*\d) Replace by: $2~s$1 2/ Find: \d\K,(?=\d) Replace by: ~< (^/)

Hi, Nobody said it was a beginning of para. A no-break (or thin space) before $ could be cool. Idem as thousand separator. Everybody suppose we'll never have more than 999,999! Try: $1,000,000,001 (^/)

Surely not with a simple Grep code! ~F(,~F)*[,;.?!…] if you play with "true" footnote calls! \d+(,\d+)*[,;.?!…] if you play with "false" note calls! In the first case, don't try! … To play it, you'll need a script! In the second one, euh! … Well! you'll need the same script! [more simple to explain! ] Of course, in the 2 cases, just enter the first or second Grep code into the first form ["Find:"] of the Find/Replace InDesign window … … and just 1 click for launching the script! Done! (^/)
