No, it is absolutely not about that. There is no value in being the fastest or having more right answers than others. I suppose it affects you, as you seem to like the word competition. I despise the mere idea, my approach is simply collaborative. If this was a competitive filed, I would not be here. There are a lot of questions, and people do their best to answer. In a large community you will find people motivated by competition, or that have time enough to fulfill their pleasure by being first at whatever. Possibly it happens here too, that some people take it as a competition. It does not mean it is. In my point of view this is just a forum where people discuss issues on their apps, and share ideas. I managed all my life to stay out of every competitive environment, I promise I would drop the community in a second if this was what this is all about.

I discovered curling when I moved to Sweden, and as pretty much with everything I discovered there, I was not the least impressed. Moving back to Italy, can you guess my frustration, when my country discovered this activity through the Olympic and right now in my town it has become a wild hysteria? there is no place I can call home 😄 I don't know why it is popular, it is hardly a sport in my eyes and I can't stand 2 minutes of it. It's like watching a chess game: probably those who play are having fun, but what's so entertaining in watching goes beyond my understanding.

Out of this community, anyhow, and let me quote you, I don't care if it offends you, just keep comments about people who are not even here to bother about your annoyance out of the conversation. Sure you have the right to have opinions, but you should also have the wisdow to understand if your opinion is really necessary and in which way you trying to mortify whoever for the sake of doing it, would make you in any way wittier, smart, or even on topic. You choose to be offensive for the sake of being offensive, purposelessly, fact that makes your observation twice that useless. Learn hence the self-dscipline most adults have to not include such comments in the future, this is not the smartest way to interact. Nobody here is offended by you, we are annoyed by this immaturity lurking around, it degrades any conversation for no reason at all. Hello! what are you working on: MAC, WIN? What are the specifications, RAM, graphics all the yaddayadda? How many applications are running in the background? Can it be the hardware? Did you check the performances in the preferences? Maybe you need to enhance the performances?

It would help to know which version you are using, and on which platform. I am looking at my Bridge and reproducing your path, but I am not able to find a folder that gives me the same result, my first idea was that maybe it depends on the folder that you are trying to open, but I am dismissing the case on my end. Have you tried resetting your preferences? You can do it either from if on WIN: edit>preferences>general> reset If on MAC Os: Adobe preferences>general> reset then cache management>purge all local cache Or Start bridge: if on WIN hit: crtl+alt+shift or if on MAC Os hit: Comm+Option+ shift Immediately as the application starts. That should activate a Reset settings dialog box Reset Preferences and Purge All Local Caches I know it is a little bit random, but if you haven't tried this yet, it won't harm your application. At worst, you can try to reinstall Bridge, but check the requirements and all that jazz too. Hope this help, will keep on trying reproducing the error, although I am not seeing the answer right now

Have you tried turning off Photoshop brush smoothing? Brush smoothing algorithm was introduced in 2018 and allows you to get a more polished look, but it can cause some delay too. Try tuning it down even to 0% as in the picture: Hope this helps!

I suppose that for these licenses they ask for the email and password to log in, and then you insert the serial number, this or the other way around. i still think it is enogh to try all mails and ask to retrieve the password. At some point you nail the right one, create a new password and that's all. If as he suppose he has closed the email address, I am not sure it can be solved here.

Lorsque vous arrivez au bon e-mail, le message vous sera envoyé par Adobe, en vous permettant de changer votre mot de passe. En faisant cela, vous remettez tout en place.

Hi folks, it's been a while, I think with the two last updates, that Bridge has become a little bit of a vampire on memory usage. It literally consume all 16Gb RAM in a matter of few minutes. I suppose there must be a way to intervene on this, but I am really not sure what I can do except limiting the apps working on the background. More often than not, though, I need PS open at the same time, but while PS does not attempt to the RAM (if I have it open and let's say I have Acrobat, Safari, Amazon Music and Pages running, no major issues happen to the memory usage), the combination Bridge and whatever else becomes unbearable for my Mac Processor: 2.7 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i5 Memory:16 GB 1600 MHz DDR3 Graphic: Intel Iris Pro 1536 MB MacOs Catalina 10.15.7 aer the specifics Any advices on this? Are there things in the preferences that I can touch to make Bridge smoother and less Memory needy? Thanks in advance!

Hello folks, I am stuck on an issue that is making me sleepless. Hope someone from Adobe will read this, as I doubt anyone but them can solve it, but the heck, who has a penny, throw it. Story: Normally I work on an iMac with my CC apps, and I have a Macbook Air that is so old, I could only download the 2017 version of the apps, the iOs is stopped I do not even remember at which era. I had CC and photoshop only as far as I can remember, on that Macbook Air, since it had 4Gb RAM, and it's been months I have not used it. Though I had my second CC on that archaeological find, as bakc in 2013, it was a fairly good laptop to have. What has happened is that that laptop has gone kaput, it does not start, produces weird sounds, does not recieve charges from the cables, and even at Apple, nobody wants to put a hand on it. My issue: I have my second CC cloud installed on that dead laptop. As far as I know, to have it uninstalled, so that I can reuse it on a new laptop, the only thing I can do is to uninstall all tools on my own. But I can't do that if the laptop does not start at all. That means it looks like I have CC installed on two units, but one is soldier down! Soldier down! I will eventually get a new laptop as soon as economy allows, MacBooks are not exactly flee market material, but will I be able to reinstall my second CC subscription or am I stuck in a limbo where I cannot uninstall from the former one, so I won't be able to install it on a new one? Any tokens on this one? Thanks in advance!

Hello, when you open Bridge, do you see the filters window? If you don't see these information there, why not putting them as collections? There is a window for that in the workspace: the one I use has filters and collection by side. I don't know which version of Bridge you use and if on win or mac. But both filters and collections can be opened through the view menu. Hope this help.

There are requests for special packages for graphics, videos, layout, web... so far there is ps + lr option only. Among users, many hope for more combinations, but so far it does not appear likely to happen. Hello folks. This question is for all those who work with patterns professionally, and specifically if they do use patterns in capture too, how they do it. This is my confusion: when I create a pattern, generally I create the single element that generates the pattern and then that design is repeated x times. I started creating patterns like the one I am posting, and generally, when I work on my own renderings, I know how to apply them on the surfaces in order not to loose in quality. Sporadically brands ask me about my patterns and I am always very confused as to how to post them. How can a professional use this? How am I supposed to post it? The borders are random. I wonder if I am even using the app as it is supposed to be used. Curiosity: those who are creating patterns, do they have some advice on how I should think around the function in the app? This script would allow you to automate name to date only for text layers? May i ask what are the benefits of this solution and why text layers only? Given that I really understood your request.

We are sorry to read your troubles. As you mention that you have spoken with adobe support, would you be so kind and let us know which solutions they offered that did not work? This would save us other users time and you will not end up reading already tested options. You seem to be at the edge of your patience, I can't promise that we can find additional options, but not knowing what you already tried, many users might not want to take to your nerves and post for nothing.
