Figma would be my suggestion. One of two scenarios are likely: 1) The deal goes through, and Figma is now an Adobe tool. Since there hasn't been any development on XD, you switch to Figma. The hope here is there is a tool/solution for importing XD files into Figma 2) The deal does not go through, and Figma remains as is. Adobe has not been developing anything with XD for some time, so it is even more behind feature-wise.

When you said Export, I mentally went to the Export Menu. Sorry about that. XD won't locally save your prototype, it is a cloud-only feature. It appears your organization has this function disabled. There is no other solution with XD for you to use. You can do a screen recording to demonstrate the functionality of your design. You will have to talk to your IT department about lifting that restriction.

XD is no longer available as a stand-alone download. If you have a certifacte for it for your course, contact the course admins or Adobe support. XD is effectively sunseted. I strongly recommend you learn another actively supported tool for your design work.

Given that Adobe is barely supporting XD, I would suspect that the plugin author isn't investing time in the plugin. If they have not answered, there is little that can be done 😞

I think the best you can do now is a trial of Creative Cloud. I should have it, but there have been issue with some accounts not seeing it. Given the state of Adobe XD, I would suggest getting a trial of Figma instead.

It has been disappearing randomly for sometime. There has been no news on the completion of the merger. The CEO of Adobe stated he hopes by the end year it will be completed. If you need to download it, you need to contact Adobe support.

No. Due the offer to buy Figma (last year), they legally can't say anything about it. This mostly reading the tea leaves; Product Managers moving on, Adobe evanligists no longer producing content, entire sites being removed...

That is unfortunately correct. Adobe is no longer offering it as a standalone product. I would STRONGLY recommend that you use Figma as their design and prototyping tool. As far as I can tell any significatn development on Adobe XD has been stopped,.

Pretty much. If you search these forums, you will see lots of folks trying to download the app from accounts. Adobe began scrubbing it from existance several months ago, as what I can assume as part of the Figma purchase. If you have an all apps planm you should have access to it. If not contact support and they should be able to "fix" the issue. If you are looking to start use XD, DON'T! The product appears to no longer be under any major developments. I would invest in learning an alternate tool.

You need to talk to Coursera. Adobe is effectively stopped development on XD. If you are pursuing a career in XD, I would look to another tool to learn. I would suggest either Sketch or Figma. Although Adobe has made an offer to buy Figma, there has been push back from both EU and US regulators. Regardless, there is still active development on both of those tools.

Actually, a long, long, long time ago it was free. But Joseph is correct there was also a starter plan that replaced the fully free version. But, alas that is gone now. I suggest looking at other solutions that might fit your budget.
