Have you searched the forums? Adobe has limited access to XD installations, in part to reduce future use of the product. You would be better served learning Figma and completing that course (if possible) with that tool.

It has been reported that both US and EU are looking at the deal. There was a recent statement from the CEO of Adobe that he hopes to close by year's end. Personally, start migrating to Figam. Even if the deal goes through, Figma is the winner.

There is an issue on how Adobe is hiding it from new installs that is causing on-going issues. Once Adobe saw Figma was going to win, they slowed developmented on the project. Then Adobe made on offer to buy Figma outright. That purchase has encountered some issues (according to third party sources), but the team behind XD is mostly gone.

Maybe just taking screengrabs of the wires in prototype mode? You may not be aware, but it appears that most development on XD has slowed. I would recommend that you return back to using Figma for your design work.

I think development on XD is mostly at a maintaince level, so I would not expect this functtionality to be added. If you are needing this format I would take the PNGs and create a conversion workflow.

In short: See the messages in this forum about the access issue in Creative Cloud. Also look at the updates to the tool over the past months. The amount of time it took to fix the link to the UI kits. Letsxd.com is now shut down and Howard Pinsky now focusing on Photoshop. I think the plan was to sunset XD, migrate everyone to Figma, but that might not happen. There are issues around the acquistion according to third party reports.

You have to contact Adobe tech support directly. They are restricting new installs of Adobe XD and in doing so, messed up their licensing system.

Given that Adobe is now restricting access to new downloads of XD, I would not expect to see this fixed ever. If color management is a critical issue for you, I would look to another tool.

Part of the problem is the bid to buy Figma. Legally, Adobe and Figma have to remain quiet, hence part of the radio silence. But I agree, they dropped a lot of balls on this.

XD really doesn't import "live" data. Technically you could write a plug-in to do this. But, given the state of Adobe XD, this not a task I personally would undertake.

If the merger happens (there appear to be some legal issues around it), I would suspect it would become part of the CC subscription. There might be a figma only option, but have no insight if that might be an option. Honestly, I recommend improving your Figma skills regardless of the outcome of the merger.

I would also try doing a "Save As…" and see if that cleans up something within the file. Another idea, would be to create a new document, put one item on it, and try the platform transfer. If that causes the issue, then you know it is XD having the problem and not the specific file.

No. Adobe XD is only about designing and prototyping the user experience and user interfaces. It does not create actual applications. You would design your app in XD, then give that design to a developer to transform into a working app. Does that help?
