Adobe Support rolled me back to version 13 and told me not to update to version 14 until I get a more powerful GPU. I lost a little work because LR 14 also "upgraded" the catalog file and version 13 wouldn't read it. I had to use an older version of the catalog to reopen my files.

I had the same problem with 14.0.1. Quit and then it wouldn't restart. It would be "stuck" with multiple instances in the Background Processes and the "files looping" like you mentioned. Adobe said that it's my GPU being under-powered/incompatible and reverted me back to 13.0. Everything is working at 13.5.1 as well.

My import did not include video files at all, just photos.

Agreed. I wasn't running any AI presets, just purely import. But that's what Adobe told me. It makes no sense.

I agree. I can't understand how an under-powered GPU would cause Lightroom not to copy files and import into the catalog. I don't mind slow rendering, I do mind being stuck.

Just spent 2 hours with Adobe. They blamed my GPU for not being powerful enough/compatible with version 14. They reinstalled version 13 so I have something that can work for now. They recommended me to get RTX 2040 RTX 3060 RTX 4060, before reinstalling version 14.

I doubt it. Every other piece of software is working just fine. It is a Lightroom Classic problem.

Yes, folder selected. And clicked Import, yes. I have used Lightroom since version 1.0. This is routine for me. I have tried to copy the files directly from the card to the drive and tried to import from the folder and that failed, too. The USB port works just fine. Lightroom Classic just would not import regardless of location of the files.

On top of that, upon Quiting Lightroom Classic, I cannot restart it. It shows up as a background process in Task Manager and it's stuck there and would not reopen. If I tried to start Lightroom Classic again, it would just start another background processes.

Here you go. I showed the screen it was "stuck" on. The Import screen had nothing unusual. Same screen I have seen millions of times.

Long time Lightroom user since version 1.0. Since Lightroom updated to 14.0.1 (Windows) I have been having trouble Importing photos from my memory card to the (internal) hard drive on my workstation. The process would be stuck at "Copy and Import Photos" and nothing happens. It would not copy the files, let alone renaming and cataloging them. When I cancel the import, Lightroom Classic would say "No photos or videos were found to import" and eject the card. This is the stuck screen. I have tried to: 1) Start a new catalog. Same result. 2) Uninstall, restart, reinstall Lightroom Classic. Same result. Lightroom has basically become useless. Is anyone else encountering this issue?

I have already done all the steps there. All services are running correctly. I have also uninstalled and re-installed the Creative Cloud Desktop (using the Clean Uninstaller Tool). Firewall on/off makes no difference. It continues to say that it's "Unable to reach Adobe servers". No other software on the computer has any issue with connections.

Long-time user here. This has been happening continuously with the latest update via Creative Cloud Desktop (Windows 10, fully updated). Every time I open one of the software, the program would open for a few seconds, then a blank white window would show up. It would then error out, and the software quits. And now Creative Cloud Desktop would get into a loop of asking me to log in, verify via my phone, then lose connection to the Adobe servers, and crash out. I have already attempted to fully uninstall (with the Clean Uninstaller tool) and re-install everything with all the OOBE folders and Preferences wiped. Same behavior. This is pretty much making CC completely unusable. What suggestions do you have? Thanks. Here are some screen captures: This window pops up after I attempted to open Bridge or Photoshop, after waiting for the blank white window to show anything. This is the "loop" Creative Cloud Desktop stuck in. I have made sure that there is no issue with the firewall, even turned it off to test.
