Christophb: This is amazing! I'm on an iMac OS Monterey and on 12/16/23, with no apparent system updates, Muse 2018 would suddenly quit unexpectedly upon launching. I then searched this thread and went through it to find "Mac" (not Windows). And I did the Adobe CC uninstall and Repair and then tried to launch Muse. After a longer launch period, giving me some hope, it crashed again. THEN I followed your instruction to launch Muse after just 10 seconds of the Repair process and it launched!! THANK YOU! Is this a one-time fix or do I have to do the CC unstall/Repair each time launching Muse (still worth it!)?

More than 11 years later, this issue, as a simple direct fix, is apparently STILL not resolved. In Acrobat, the font is Open Sans. Editing the PDF by changing to any other font causes the weird characters.

In Photoshop CC 2020 is it possible to type text horizontally within an ellipse? In InDesign this is accomplished with the Ellipse Frame Tool. Does PS have an equivelent or a workaround?

If the goal of flattening is to make the pdf text unselctable to edit, which was my goal, the simple way is to save it as a jpeg, then open it in an application like Photoshop and Save As a PDF. Flattened and uneditable.
