Thank you, Anubhav!  I was loading it from my Creative Cloud, which I'm running off my desktop, within the Fonts page.  I got the download from   in a zip file. I opened the download and have two types of files, one a TrueType font file and the other is a OpenType font file.          I'm pretty sure I got it from dafontfree.com  Is this enough information? ...
