In Acrobat 2024, if you are the author creating the form and need to reset it after testing, go to All Tools > Prepare a Form. Then in the Fields panel on the right side there is an Options menu (three dots) which has Clear Form.

Rebooting did the trick. All is well. Should have tried that — it usually fixes things. Webroot was not found, btw.

Shift/drag for proportional sizing and Opt/drag for copying are not working in InDesign 2024. I have a brand new M3 Pro MacBook with clean install of InDesign 2024, Sonoma 14.2.1. Works fine in Illustrator and Photoshop. Any ideas?

Here is a suggestion for future updates of InDesign. Make it possible to open and edit PDFs with InDesign. That would sure save a lot of headaches and frustration. I know you can save them as Word docs and edit them there, but Word is Word, if you know what I mean. And editing in Acrobat is anything but a user-friendly experience. I realize there are third-party apps, but it seems logical to have this feature available with InDesign.

I'm trying to use Share for Review in InDesign 15.1.1. It has worked previously, but today I get a blacked out drop down menu (see attachment). Restarted InD several times — no change. I've had error messages before and restarting InD fixed it. Most times it works beautifully. I think it's time for an update, Adobe.

But why do we have to do this? Why doesn't it just work?

We did the latest incremental update to InDesign and Illustrator CC2014 earlier this week and have had no issues. Printing to Fiery seems to be working. On Tue, Oct 7, 2014 at 1:32 PM, Scott Worthington <forums_noreply@adobe.com>

Same thing here. InD CC 2014 crashes after printing to Xerox 700 w/Fiery and also randomly when I'm working in other applications, even Excel, not just other CC apps. Mavericks 10.9.3, iMac 3.1 GHz i7, 8 GB RAM.

I know my drive is not case-sensitive, because I rename files and folders using upper or lower cases all the time, with no issues.

So you're telling me Mac OS Extended (Journaled) is a case-sensitive file system? Sorrry for not understanding that. But you're also saying that Adobe products cannot be installed on this type of drive? So how, then, do I have Adobe products installed on my drive? And they work? The issue is the updating of CC desktop app. Also, the solutions for updating this app sure has a bunch of hoops to jump through. Is this all the better Adobe can do for the price we pay?

Thanks for the quick response. My hard drive is Mac OS Extended (Journaled), which I believe is a viable formatting for CC.

Why does the CC desktop app crash every time I try to update it? This is the error message - We've encountered the following issues: Sorry, there seems to be a problem with the installation process (Error code A12E1) For troubleshooting tips, please visit our customer support page. I did a chat that was of no help at all, basically told me how to downlod and install the app, which I've done too many times now. We are paying way too much for CC for issues (and service) like this. Mac OS X 10.7.5, iMac 3.06 GHz Intel Core i3, 4 GB RAM
