We're working on new ways to access the Adobe User to User Forums.

Right now the primary way to access the forums is via the web using an HTTP interface. But it is also possible to access the forums as newsgroups (NNTP).

Your set up appears to be designed to keep people out, so that if some one is an infrequent user than you just end up looping back on virtual dead ends .

What Ricardo expects is just what I see when getting in directly through my browser. I have had never used a newsreader, so I don't know what one can expect there.

Please ignore. Just checking if I've set up the newsreader properly.

    Ricardo,

Your post seems to say that nobody comes here because it is so popular.

Are you using a web interface or a newsreader?

If a newsreader, how much experience do you have with using one? I have never been happy (here and anywhere) with newsreaders for precisely the reason you give but my reaction is to use the web interface which behaves precisely the way you describe.

    I'm new around here.

What I expected was to click on the Photoshop Win word and be teleported to a display of all the message headers available for reading, and by clicking on a message or thread, I should be able to read it. Instead I get every thing BUT the above, and it is making my blood pressure do some very unhealthy things.

Your set up appears to be designed to keep people out, so that if some one is an infrequent user than you just end up looping back on virtual dead ends.

Please make this site more user friendly.

adobeforums were on my isp's news groups until 9/2/04. While the group is still there it is only the postings outside of the forums. It would seem the forums are no longer posting to other news groups ? Anyone else noticed this ? Thanks Steve Eyrse

Steve, I checked my NR access via Outlook Express 6 and had no difficulty
accessing all messages in this forum. If this is received, it will say that
there is not difficulty posting from there either.

You might need to check further with your isp. I can pretty much guarantee
that we would have heard something much sooner if it was a widespread
problem.

<Steven_Eyrse@adobeforums.com> wrote in message
news:ef406ea.74@webx.la2eafNXanI...
> adobeforums were on my isp's news groups until 9/2/04.
