Question

community.adobe vs adobe.community

Basic question ...

I've used community.adobe for years ...

I just saw a pop-up at the bottom for "Explore the new Adobe Community." and clicking the link goes to adobe.community.

Questions:

  • Do I have to set up new login info on adobe.community, or will my info from community.adobe migrate/transfer over?
  • Are both forum/communities going to be maintained for the foreseeable future?
  • What is the overall plan?

It seems a bit odd to have two different forums to maintain for the same issues and user base.

    no new log in.

    details were posted in many forums, eg cc services.

    @kglad - Apparently, I missed that memo. Would you have a link to the details? i.e. is the new community an alternative to the current community, or a future replacement or undecided at this point, etc?

    Thanks!

    @kglad - Ok - thanks. I'm not quite getting it, but ...

    I click the Adobe logo and it takes me to adobe.community. From there, I click Explore Communities and it takes me to community.adobe, which is where I am now ...

    i didn't get it either, but maybe i'm missing something.  read this and let me know what you think, https://community.adobe.com/t5/download-install-discussions/a-new-home-for-the-adobe-community/td-p/15364446
