Greetings - Spry, etc.

Hello everyone,

I am a "newbie" to web design and have been self-training through Lynda.com as well as reading the dreamweaver CS5 book.  I am designing my company's website and am at a wall on a few things.

1.)  The Spry Menu Bar - I go through the CSS Styles and input new styles - everything changes on my design screen but when I hit "preview in browser - safari" - I see no changes.

2.)  In my main content box - I experience the same situation.  All of the text is justified left on the design screen but when I preview in browser - everything shifts over to the right.

I tried to search the forum for answers but have just had no luck.  Any answers will be greatly appreciated!
