Is it still possible to download trial versions of CS6 products?

I've spent most of the day trying to install Adobe After Effects CS6 trial version.  I finally managed to install the Creative Cloud version but I do NOT want Creative Cloud. 

Are they two different versions?  Or if I purchase the CS6 version and fill in the serial number, will the CC download become CS6?

I looked under HELP to see if I needed to de-activate the Creative Cloud version before uninstalling it and saw an option to 'log out'.  I decided not to do anything before figuring out if they are one in the same or horses of different colors.

    You can download any CS6 trial from http://prodesigntools.com/adobe-cs6-direct-download-links.html - make sure you follow the Very Important Instructions before proceeding to the actual download.

    However, if you do not already have a CS6 serial number, I'm not sure if you can every activate it.
