Old posts with HTML embedded - will they be fixed?

Are old posts like this that are full of embedded HTML eventually going to be normalized?

There are quite a few of them floating around--maybe people posting in from the news servers in the past?

There is no way to fix them programatically. As forum hosts come across them they can try to edit them to fix them if they wish.

I just asked John C. about this in regards to all the links in the Photoshop Lounge Resource Repository.

JOHN! Please check your forum system Private Messages! (Or at least just let me know that you have, so I don't keep pestering you)

    Thanks.

Ahhh, OK. I see that the name which autofilled (or that I clicked on) was "John[underscore]Cornicello," which may be leftover from the import.

I'll resend them to you via email.

    Thanks for checking.

That's me. But my "home" gmail account. I'll sign in with that in a while and check it out.
