One more forum maintenance downtime today

Scheduled for 6pm, Pacific time. Forums should be in maintenance mode for 15-20 minutes to kill off a couple of hung query processes that are eating up memory.

Sorry for the inconvenience. Hoping this clears up the two major crashes in the past two days.

I saw that message too, eventually, after a number of instances where the forums seemed to be there only with my being logged out, some Currently Unavailable messages, and also some 404s.

Obviously, I prefer the being updated screen, whatever hides behind it.

Glad that it was just a server issue, as I feared a major spam attack, or denial of service. Thanks for the updates.
