Hi Manfred, and welcome!

It sounds as though you are asking questions about Premiere. To ask your question you should go to http://www.adobeforums.com/cgi-bin/webx/.3bbe4d6a/ and find the sub-forum in the list that is related to the software you are using.

My prediction:

Manfred will never find his way back to this thread.

(Is this an example of what's wrong with what we've got, or just of human nature?)

How much guessing did Manfred do regarding where to post because of his claimed deficiency in English?

How did he manage to drill down so deeply in the wrong direction?

'Claimed' ? Over cynical, I think.

Probably hopelessly lost and stabbing wildly at any likely-looking link. I think it might be like those phone menus - if none of the choices make any sense to me, I tend to either wait to the end and hold on, or on another try, just pick '#1' and ask whoever answers to redirect me. Maybe this forum sounds, maybe not right, but fairly general so not obviously wrong.

How about a specialised search link on the forum home page, that only returns links to possibly-correct forums for the incomer's needs? Have a list still, but maybe indented with headings like 'Photoshop', then a search function called - which forum do I need? If you put in 'Elements' it will return the various Elements forums.

Hmmm. Again. on another forum, the search has choices - return threads or return posts. Adapt that, with an extra choice for 'return forum headings' ?????

Now matter how hard I try to look at the navigation here with a naive mindset, I still can't fathom how people find it so difficult to take just a minute to pay attention, and then get to where they want to go.

And then, when they get to where they think they should be, have a look around to confirm that it's the right place for their question.

It's even a lower set of cognitive functions than reason and intelligence, J.J.

All it takes is paying a little attention and some rudimentary reading skills.

All I can think of is that people get her via some search results.
