Someone posted under my name

Hi, there!

This is the first time it happened to me.
Don't know if it's due to a bug, a security breach or whatever.

User portland_cards posted under my name:

http://forums.adobe.com/message/5967861#5967861

in the thread:

portland_cards

Automating Bulk Scan Cropping/straightening

User portland_cards claimed, and I  believe him, that he is not responsible for that.

A forum glitch? A hack by somone else?

Since I'm notified per e-mail of every post I do, I immediately checked after reading that mail.

Here a screenshot of the post together with portland_cards's reaction and my comment on it:

I don't know who is administrating this all. Maybe she or he could investigate what went wrong.

Suggestions?

Uwe

We will ask Jive to take a look at the database to see what caused that.

Got the PM from Laubender and will monitor this thread. As I said in the thread in question, I just clicked the sign in button and submitted a reply, and afterwards noticed it was a different username than my own on the reply. Being new to the website, I wasn't exactly sure what it meant, so I clicked on Uwe's username and scanned through some recent posts before quickly realizing what was going on. I never went anywhere else on their profile or looked into it any further. I immediately logged off and replied with my own account info.

Please understand, I honestly felt this was a violation to Laubender, and I just want them and the admins here to know that I have no bad intentions here and I only registered to receive help on a quicker way to scan and crop my trading cards. Thanks!

    Uwe,

I believe this issue has been up at least once in the past.

It may be a few days before John or someone else able to deal with it turns up here.

Some think New Year Is Near.
