Background noise help with Adobe Premiere Pro CS5.5
Hi everyone. Although I have owned it for a long time, I am relatively new to Adobe Premiere and editing sound. I only have the 5.5 version. I imported video clips from my iPad (on my PC, not my Mac) and there is a lot of background whitenoise (air and reverb). The room is a dining room with a wood floor and I can't reshoot the video. I'm having a heck of a time trying to figure out how to properly edit the sound parts of the video to clean them up. I've tried using the Denoiser, but ti doesn't really help much. I've also tried doing research and every article I find is in a newer version of Premiere. I had to increase the gain on the video, because the sound was too low. I used the Audio Gain and Normalized the audio. That helped a lot, but then it made the ambient air sound worse and the reverb worse. the Does anyone know how I can edit this sound to make it not sound like we are in a hollow room? I appreciate your help. Thanks.
