Hey guys,This is more of a, 'what is your annoying experience', kinda post.So I landed a job as a junior graphics designer and still learning the ropes and always will.Last week, one of the project managers wanted me to convert a PSD to a PDF and AI, also to convert the raster layers in the PSD to vector. It was an easy convert, since the logo was all black and all I needed to do what image trace the logo in AI, save as PDF and AI, good to go to the client.So the client comes back to the project manager and state one of the layers isn't a vector and they screenshotted it. So I looked at it, ok it wasn't. I converted it again and made sure it was a vector. Sent it again.But what really gets me... is that the 'creative manager' from the other company (I saw in the email) screenshotted illustrator of the un-vectored layer. Why couldn't she image trace the layer herself? She has illustrator open, a quick google search how to vector an image in illustrator would have taken her 20 mins max f

Can anyone confirm if this is an annual event, and give any indication of what month it would be held in 2019? My work is keen to get me over, however there's only summary notes from this year's 2018 symposium on their website as it was only held in August. Thanks!

Windows Build does not work

I am looking for a next gen top of the line plugin or presets exclusively for logos, I am working on upgrading my trends and the designs are stating to get stale and or going back to classical art. Very experimental. Any ideas links or processes welcome.Logos are not growing fast enough for the marketA fresh new take on Logos is needed for the Social media bundling. I would like to gather data and exchange Ideas about new trends in design and maybe cross-pollinate with some good peeps in order to create a new fresh style of logo making to grow the gap and lock the niche in some areas. I am an Activist in several Organizations and am trying to create a "TEMPLATE eMagazine" like platform that includes multi-program and realistic rick media distribution via PDF. The realistic and template parts means the finished platform is non-code learning in nature; any examples?

Can someone from the US tell me if people affected by the US Government shutdown get paid retrospectively when a budget is finally agreed, or do they lose that income completely?   What about things like health insurance?  Does that remain valid throughout the shutdown?  I'm not asking about who is to blame.  I'm just wondering how those workers are going to manage if it is as drawn out as they are saying today.

Hi everyone, Can you answer the question" How do i get ADOBE support to answer a question i have with regard to a double withdrawal ADOBE made on my account." I have tried patiently waiting in the support chat room online and have had numerous, please be patient as all our customer support people are busy. Does anyone use this software?  Their website is sort of confusing.  Is the $100 standalone software all that's needed to up-res images?

Hello everyone! Could you recommend an article or some different source about typograhy rules for books, catalogs and other publications in English language?Usually there are a lot of special things for any particular language, for example using of spaces with different width, em/en dashes, quotation marks and etc. In general most of the rules are clear and can be found in any book about typography. But one of my students ask me about some kind of 'quick' manual or list of this rules for English language, and after short searching I'm not sure if it's even possible to find...
