Bug with folder in Bridge

I'm having a problem with a seemly corrupt folder in Birdge. I tried to open it yesterday and now I'm stuck in a loop.  I get an error just saying 'Error' I click on OK and Bridge closes. I have deleted the folder from my computer, but still every time Bridge opens it goes back to the location of the old folder and the same happens again. I have re-installed it twice but still the same problem. Any one else had this issue?

Yeah, sounds like you are in a loop.

Please try resetting your preferences, here's how:

Quit Bridge (if running). Just before clicking on Bridge in the Dock or double-clicking the application for the Mac, press Command-Option-Shift. For PCs, press Control-Alt-Shift. Then open Bridge BUT KEEP your fingers on those keys until you see a window pop up. From the window, choose “Reset Preferences," "Entire Thumbnail Cache,” and/or "Reset Standard Workspaces.” In your case, choose "Reset Preferences." If that doesn't work, try resetting all options.

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.
